Pyrenees News: Snow reports from Pyrenees Mountain ski resorts
For the past two days, the weather has been wet and chilly in the Pyrenees, both in Aquitaine and neighbouring Midi Pyrenees with significant falls of snow across the range. The wet weather is forecast to continue tomorrow and hopefully clear on Tuesday.
New Years Day is a great time to get up on the slopes, as the queues will be small and the pistes quiet, partly because many people will be returning to work the next day, but also due to the celebrations the previous evening – and morning!! If you can bear not to celebrate the New Year with too much drink, you will be rewarded with great skiing conditions and the pistes almost to yourself.
