Description:
Bordeaux-Mérignac airport is the busiest airport in the region of Aquitaine having served over 3 1/2 million passengers in 2010. Located just outside Bordeaux in the town of Mérignac, 6km west of the city, it is a vital hub for the whole of the south west with around twenty commercial passenger airlines and charter ones all out of it.
In 2010 Bordeaux saw a new Low cost terminal « Billi » open, offering many more destinations at affordable prices.

How to get there
Shuttle Bus
The shuttle bus at the airport is called the « JetBus » and is available directly in front of Terminal B Arrivals level. It connects Bordeaux Airport to the city’s train station « Gare St Jean » passing through the city centre . The Jet Bus runs every 45 minutes 7 days a week and takes around 45 minutes.
Cost : One way : 7€ / person Return : 12€/person
Reduced price : One way = 6€ person Return : 10€ / person
To benefit from reduced price you ut be : Under 26, 60 or over, ffailiy of three people or more.
Free for kids under 5.
Groups more than 10 – reservation 8 days in advance is obligatory.
Bus
A regular bus service also serves the airport. Liane 1 departs from Place Quinconces in the city centre trhough to the airport and also connects with tran line A « Lérignac Centreé station and tram line B and C « Bordeaux Quinconces » station.
Taxis
